Liugong Dressta Machinery, known as Dressta, is a global manufacturer of heavy construction equipment based in Poland. Dressta specializes in the production of crawler dozers, pipelayers and belt shifters, all of which are built in the company’s factory in Stalowa Wola, Poland.
The Stalowa Wola plant was formed in 1937 for the purpose of manufacturing military equipment, eventually becoming a major hub for construction equipment production in Central Europe.
“From this facility,” Dressta states, “our expertly crafted machines are supplied throughout Dressta’s network of regional distributors, who provide our end users with instant and easy communication to both the Dressta sales and technical teams.”
Dressta became a subsidiary of LiuGong, the Chinese construction machinery giant, in 2012, whereupon it took on the name LiuGong Dressta Machinery. LiuGong is the world’s largest manufacturer of wheel loaders.
Dressta writes of the LiuGong acquisition:
“Through access to the Chinese market and a substantial injection of resources, the acquisition ensured an increase in manufacturing volume and efficiency—marking the start of a new chapter in the company’s history.
“Since then, Dressta has expanded distribution operations into Europe, Asia & Pacific, Middle East & Africa, North America and Latin America, and we support this with unrivalled technical support and expertise on all of our machines.”
Depending on the market, Dressta offers up to eight crawler dozer models, three pipelayers and one belt shifter.
