About Hitachi Construction Machinery
Hitachi Construction Machinery Company (HCM) is a Japan-based manufacturer of construction equipment. Its parent company, Hitachi, Ltd., is a vast multinational conglomerate with eleven separate business divisions, of which HCM is one.
Established in Tokyo, Japan, in the middle of the 20th century, HCM focuses almost exclusively on the design and production of excavators, including compact excavators, wheeled excavators, utility excavators, mining excavators, construction and production excavators and reduced-tail-swing excavators. It also offers a variety of haul trucks and foresters.
“It’s that kind of focus, combined with our legacy of meeting demanding mining applications, that results in highly efficient, reliable and durable machines,” Hitachi states. “So you get maximum performance, no matter which Hitachi machine you’re running.”
The company also sells a range of individual parts, and recently launched its Core Parts Promise. According to Hitachi, the Core Parts Promise is “a new dealer stock program that promises quick parts replacements for Hitachi’s production-class excavators so you can maximize productivity.”
“Critical parts that can down a machine and be installed within three hours will be available the same day from the participating Hitachi dealer – or the part is free,” the company explains on its website. “This includes parts such as hydraulic hoses, starters, alternators, water pumps, injectors, switches, relief valves and more.
“On major parts and components, such as engines, transmissions or motors, Hitachi promises it can get the parts to customers the next day, or shipping is free. Participating Hitachi dealers are offering the Core Parts Promise to customers in the United States and Canada. Reach out to your local Hitachi dealer to learn more”
HCM maintains an array of manufacturing, sales and distribution centers around the world, including North America, South America, Europe and Australia.
