Kanga Loaders is an Australian manufacturer of compact loaders and diggers, as well as accessories. It was founded in 1980 and has headquarters in Yatala, Queensland. Since 2009 it has been a subsidiary of Digga Machinery Attachments. Per Kanga’s website:
“The company was built on the back of innovation and unlike other companies who produce a multitude of different products, Kanga’s only focus is the Mini Loader. It enables our engineering and R&D team to know the product inside out and to put all their energy into a single focus.
“Combined with an unrivalled passion for the product and close customer relations, Kanga has been able to constantly lead the industry with solutions for a diverse range of industries.”
Kanga machines are known for their innovation, safety and durability. “Kanga Loaders are designed to outperform the rest and withstand adverse conditions or rough handling.”
In 1981, Kanga produced the first stand-on compact skid steer loader. Since then Kanga has received a number of awards. In 1989 it won the Australian Design Award. In 2004 it won the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards and was a finalist for the Australian Export Award—Small to Medium Manufacturer. In 2014 Kanga received the GC Mayors Innovation Award.
Today, Kanga’s line of mini loaders is broken down into four categories: mini (2 Series), midi (6 and 7 Series), maxi (8 Series) and specialist (remote control). The company offers a total of nine models.
“The Kanga Mid Range 6 & 7 series loaders are perfect for all terrains due to the independent 4-wheel hi–torque drive system, and coupled with the 23” tyres allows this loader in the most undulating places with an amazing ground clearance of 185mm,” Kanga states.
“Proving popular for a variety of uses such as a rental yard or general contractor, the 6 series has a hydraulic system pressure of up to 3250 psi that ensures incredible power and durability.”
