VF Venieri is an Italian company that specializes in the production of backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, articulated backhoe loaders and compact loaders. It was established in 1948 and is based in Lugo, Emilia-Romagna.
Venieri built its first loaders in 1958. Two years later it began production of earth moving machines. Venieri expanded steadily throughout the 1960s and 1970s, manufacturing its first hydrostatic forklift and the world’s first hydrostatic transmission for earth moving equipment.
In 1983 the company introduced wheel loaders with Power Shift transmission and Parallel Linkage. In the '90s Venieri partnered with Case USA and became the official supplier of five wheel loader models for Case Europe. Venieri produced the world’s first electrical backhoe loader in 1999.
In 2007 Venieri unveiled the VF 2.63E Electra—the first electric wheel loader in the world. The following year it introduced five new wheel loaders. Venieri won the Samoter International Award in both 2011 and 2014.
The company’s current fleet, last updated in 2016, includes 18 wheel loader models. It also features three articulated backhoe loaders, two compact loaders and one backhoe loader. The maximum weight of Venieri loaders ranges from 3600 kg (the 1.63C) to 22000 kg (the 18.63 and 18.63B). According to Venieri:
“A complex network of international dealers allows Venieri a major presence in the markets, complemented by diffused structure of authorized workshops, provides customer care pre- and post-sales at the highest level. An efficient parts department will send [parts] all over the world and rapid spare parts of all machines [produced by] Venieri,” including older models that are no longer in production.
