Waldon Equipment

Waldon Equipment is an American company based in Oklahoma that specializes in the manufacture and supply of loaders and forklifts, as well as attachments for each. It also offers parts and services.

Founded in 1957 as Fairview Pipe and Supply, the company began by recycling pipes from the oil industry and using them for agricultural and construction applications. For example, some of the recycled pipes were fashioned into blades for bulldozers.

Waldon manufactured its first loader in 1968. The company was sold to Overhead Door in 1982 and underwent various acquisitions and changes of ownership before finally being purchased by Broce Manufacturing in 2012. In a joint press release the companies stated:

“Since 1957, Waldon products have been setting the standard for compact, 4-wheel drive, articulated loaders and forklifts, and in 1997 added the “Digmaster” loader backhoe line. Rugged and durable, Waldon products have the reputation of excelling where others fall behind or fall apart.”

Waldon offers both compact and heavy duty loaders with operating capacities ranging from 635 kg to 1530 kg. Its 8500C loader has a 1.4 m bucket, 239 cm clearance height, 6260 kg breakout force and 115 HP Diesel Cummins engine.

Its forklift line includes three models—the 5100, 6000C and 8500 Heavy Duty.

“Waldon forklifts are designed for large capacity industrial jobs and for use in areas with rough terrain,” the company explains. “Our attachments are made versatile and can fit a variety of brands including Komatsu and Hyster and other equipment.”
