BFGoodrich, a leading American tire manufacturer, recently added two new tire models to its offering of commercial truck tires—the Highway Control S and the Highway Control T.
Tire Review reports that the new, SmartWay-verified Highway Control tires from BFGoodrich are designed with a number of innovative features. New sidewall compounds enhance fuel efficiency while improved shoulder ribs and a new tread design guard the tires against irregular wear.
Moreover, the Highway Control tires feature new groove designs that improve water evacuation, reduce stone retention and ultimately prolong casing life.
“BFGoodrich commercial truck products are built to deliver long, even wear and fuel-efficiency performance to get the job done — even in tough conditions,” commented Adam Murphy, vice president of marketing for BFGoodrich commercial truck tires. “It’s a brand that fleet operators can count on.”
The Highway Control S, which replaces the ST 244, comes in the following sizes: 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 (Load Range G), 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 (Load Range H), 275/80R22.5 (Load Range G), and 285/80R24.5 (Load Range G).
The Highway Control T, which is available 1 May, will take the place of the TR 144. It comes in the following sizes: 11R22.5, 275/80R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5 (Load Range G).
All BFGoodrich tires come with a one-year mileage-satisfaction guarantee. The Highway Control T comes with a two-year, even-wear satisfaction guarantee. Both of the new tires come with a five-year, two-retread manufacturer’s limited casing guarantee, according to Tire Review.
BFGoodrich was founded in 1870 and has been a subsidiary of Michelin since 1990.
