Isuzu Australia recently announced an agreement with South East Auto & Heavy Diesel (SEA Heavy Diesel), a dealer and service provider based Esperance, Western Australia. Isuzu, a Japan-based manufacturer of commercial vehicles and diesel engines, has more than 70 dealership locations throughout Australia.
As an official dealer, SEA Heavy Diesel will now supply genuine Isuzu parts.
SEA Heavy Diesel was established in 2015 by Tim Warr and his wife, Chrystal. “Since then,” Prime Mover reports, “the business has serviced and repaired all things diesel powered, along with air conditioning and electrical repairs and maintenance.”
Speaking to Prime Mover, Warr said he was excited to partner with one of the world’s major players in the commercial vehicle industry.
“Isuzu Trucks is a very well-known brand, and for local owners and operators in and around Esperance, it’s a great opportunity to have access to authorised Isuzu servicing and parts,” he said, adding, “We’re proud to be representing Isuzu Trucks here in Esperance.”
Of course, the new partnership comes with increased responsibility, and Warr said his team is working hard to make sure they are up to the job.
“Our staff are fully trained by Isuzu Australia, and we have the latest software and tools to diagnose, repair and maintain the latest in truck technology,” he explained. “We’re ready and raring to go and of course, we welcome all new and existing Isuzu owners.”
Nathan Ton, Isuzu Australia National Dealer Development Manager, framed the partnership as a win for local communities.
“The arrangement fills the coverage gap in Western Australia,” he told Prime Mover. “Those southern reaches of the state have traditionally been a bit of a grey area for most truck manufactures, so this announcement is extremely welcomed, especially for our customers.”
