New Isuzu dealership to open in Queensland

Isuzu Australia announced recently that it will open a new dealership in Queensland called Sunshine Coast Isuzu. Open for business 1 November, Sunshine Coast Isuzu will provide services to the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and South Burnett regions, according to Prime Mover. In addition to selling and servicing trucks, and supplying parts and accessories, the new dealership will reportedly have a mobile field service truck to cater to customers living in rural areas who may not be able to make it to the dealership.

The opening of Sunshine Coast Isuzu comes on the heels of the closure of Madill Isuzu, which created a gap in regional coverage.

“Our first and foremost responsibility is to our customers, making sure we provide customer-specific solutions that answer their needs,” said IAL National Network Development Manager, Nathan Ton.

The dealership is managed by CJD Equipment, a private company experienced in sales and distribution of trucks and equipment. CJD currently operates a Isuzu dealership in Darwin, as well as a sales, service and parts shop in Alice Springs, according to Prime Mover.

Ton lauded CJD as a dependable and capable partner.

“CJD is a trusted partner of Isuzu Trucks, and I have every confidence the dealership will deliver the world-class quality and reliability that Isuzu customers have grown to expect,” he said. “We look forward to working closely with the Sunshine Coast Isuzu team as they continue the important task of looking after Isuzu truck customers in the years to come.”

Meanwhile, CJD Equipment Managing Director Alan Barnett described the new dealership as an important step forward for his company:

“The new Sunshine Coast Isuzu dealership represents an opportunity for CJD to continue to grow our business, and to better support Isuzu Trucks customers in the region. CJD has over the years developed a strong partnership with Isuzu, and we are pleased to be able to further grow that relationship.”
