SANY has introduced the latest edition of its SY50U excavator, designed to accommodate a wider range of working conditions in the urban construction, agricultural and landscaping sectors.
Tan Xin, who helped design the updated machine, said:
“The SY50U’s zero tail swing radius and independent boom swing allow it to operate in extremely confined spaces. Its maximum right boom swing distance is 710 mm, while the left one is 745 mm, meaning it can work near a wall corner without frequently moving the machine.”
Featuring a 42 hp Yanmar, Tier 4 engine and advanced SLSS hydraulic system, the SY50U improves speed and power, as well as fuel efficiency. Compared to older models, the SY50U reduces fuel consumption by 15 per cent and improves efficiency by 14.2 per cent, according to SANY.
Meanwhile, an innovative automatic engine preheating system enables the SY50U to properly function in temperatures as low as 15 degrees below zero.
The large hood is easy to open, allowing for full access to the engine and simplifying general maintenance. Moreover, the SY50U features a centralized inner component structure that includes the air filter, oil filter, water separator, oil dipstick, expansion tank and oil filling mouth.
Further simplifying maintenance is a detachable radiator screen.
The SY50U excavator boasts a maximum dig depth of 246 cm and a maximum dumping height of 380 cm.
Its broad view, adjustable seat and air conditioner work to enhance operator experience.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Changsha, China, SANY is the sixth largest heavy machinery manufacturer in the world. It has a network of over 8,000 suppliers.
